Tetachuck Lake Wilderness Lodge

Tetachuck Wilderness Lodge

In the wilderness of southwestern Canada lies the largest nature preserve in British Columbia, the Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Far removed from all civilization, there is the Tetachuck Wilderness Lodge. The seclusion and natural energy here is seldom found on our earth. Come for the tranquility; leave your everyday routine behind, and recharge. Whether hiking, canoeing, or just enjoying the stillness. As one of guests said, quoting from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, “Silence is the perfect herald of joy.” We are pleased to prepare a warm and hospitable home for you, and we want to convey to you nature's full spectrum of beauty. Because what really counts is not what you can see, but what you can sense.

Our Mission

Nature has many ideas. They are still there, the enchanting forests, the lakes, the unending expanse of the heavens, and the stillness. You can find all of this in western Canada, where the soothing energy of nature can still be experienced. Let yourself go, far away from the pressure to perform and the artificial chaos of the everyday. Find peace, let the stillness work on you, build strength, and create something new. Discover the spectacular in the unique, and experience the vastness of a small scale – unique and priceless. We are happy to help you with ideas, route descriptions,…

Cabins

The comfortable log cabins are spaced about 50 meters apart on the shores of Tetachuck Lake and promise a stay in the pristine wilderness that’s both restful and full of variety.
Each cabin has its own charm and specific amenities.
